We’ve started our sowing regime and the first signs of growth have emerged. But they won’t be ready for sale or putting out in your garden for a few weeks yet. Firstly there is no need to rush as if you put plants out when it is too cold and wet they will just sit and sulk, or even die.
Aim for the end of March / beginning of April to start your vegetable patches. Greenhouse plants such as Tomatoes, Peppers, Cucumber etc will be ready from the beginning of April at the earliest - but you’ll have to watch the weather, if it is too cold you’ll want to wait a bit longer. You don’t want your tomato plants going blue with cold!
