Nature’s winter wonders

Nature offers us such a selection of wonderful colours, scents and textures over the winter.

There’s an abundance of plants, shrubs and trees that can be combined in pots and borders to enjoy from the inside out or when approaching an entrance.

Evergreen shrubs such as Skimmia and Viburnum bear striking flower buds or berries during the winter, and also give great structure and texture when frosted. Their deep green foliage looks attractive rain or shine.

Decorative bark or the vibrant bare stems of Dogwoods look like fireworks shooting out above a lower planting of winter bedding or the emerging green shoots of early spring bulbs.

There’s nothing like a fresh seasonal door wreath to welcome visitors and set the festive tone.

‘Welcome rings’ became popular during the 19th century to hang on front doors and were traditionally made of holly, ivy, pine cones and ribbons.

Our talented team are well and truely in full swing. Each wreath is unique and designs are often snapped up as soon as they’re hung……..we have to get in quick for a social media pic and been known to miss a few of our favourites!

During the festive season don’t forget that we also create bespoke wreaths, arrangements, bouquets and planters/baskets to order too.

We have a wide range of indoor plants and bulbs that are looking their best at this time of year.

They make great gifts or decorations/centrepieces themselves. Potted Hyacinths, Narcissus Paperwhite and Gardenia are wonderfully scented. Whilst others such as Cyclamen, Azalea, Amaryllis and the Christmas Hellebore bring colour and life into your space.

Our diverse range of stylish indoor pots and containers are always popular and can really enhance a plant or scheme.
